Combine sheer power and exhilaration of RIB riding in our Solent Treasure Hunt together with learning the technical ability and skill of yacht racing in a series of high adrenalin races in this action-filled day out on the water.
The day starts off as it means to go on with the teams pitting their new found sailing skills against one another on board a fleet of matched Beneteau 40.7 racing yachts. The racing will be fast and frantic as the yachts line up on the start line, sailed and steered by their new crews and fully advised by our professional racing skippers. After a series of 2-3 races, your teams will be left hungry for more hot competition….
A shore stop in Cowes on the Isle of Wight for lunch is a chance for the crews to socialise and tell tales of the morning’s activities.
The afternoon promises more thrills and spills as the teams climb into their fleet of identical 8 metre RIBs, or Rigid Inflatable Boats, powered by 225HP engine and capable of up to 50mph on the water. With each team member given the opportunity to drive the RIBs, everyone will be a key player in the afternoon’s Treasure Hunt, solving clues and gaining points to add to the day’s score board.
