| High Speed RIB Treasure Hunts |
Sheer exhilaration! Nothing comes close to the excitement and power of a RIB or Rigid Inflatable Boat. Capable of stunning speeds and yet controllable in all sea states our fleet of identical 8 metre ribs powered by 225HP engines, are an amazing ride for anyone willing to take on the challenge.
After a comprehensive safety briefing, our fully qualified skippers will take you down to the berths to ‘kit up’ for sea. Waterproofs, automatic lifejackets, stopwatches and Polaroid cameras are issued to all participants, giving you all the tools for the challenge.
Once you’re all kitted out, you will head out into the Solent and plan your strategy with a little help from your skipper. Each team member will be able to drive the 50 mph RIB during the ‘buoy to buoy’ navigation challenges, and take turns in solving land and sea base challenges to find the treasure.
The treasure hunt will take you across the picturesque Solent and to many historical sights, including Cowes on the Isle of Wight, where lunch will be taken.
Teams compete for points that are skewed heavily towards those who show creativity. The photographs are particularly important as are the various home made items that you will need to have ready for the final prize giving - an event not to be missed!
