| Corporate Regatta Day |
Incorporating both sides of our popular match racing and hospitality days, the Regatta day is a pleasant mix of both excitement and relaxation.
Starting with an informal breakfast in one of our yacht cubs, teams will meet their skipper and crews for the day’s sailing. Your morning will be spent getting to know your yacht and how she sails, with expert tuition given to you by your Crew. By mid-morning the first race of the day will commence, summoning up that friendly rivalry in readiness for the afternoon’s racing.
Lunch will be spent on shore at Cowes, on the Isle of Wight and is an ideal opportunity for your guests to get to know one another during a buffet lunch on board, a barbecue on the terrace or a three course meal at a local fish restaurant.
The afternoon will be spent racing onboard your identically matched yachts in a series of short, action-packed races, each team putting in 110 per cent to inch ahead of the others. The racing will naturally build a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie amongst the teams.
Your day will be rounded off with an afternoon tea reception back at the yacht club together with a prize-giving ceremony for your teams.
