Phillip Holroyd Smith, Managing Director
Phillip has sailed and raced all his life and now combines this passion with his considerable experience in the hospitality and corporate event worlds. After a seven year stint in the restaurant business and wine trade he moved into event management within the skiing industry. He took over Impression Sailing in 2003, structured a buy-out in early 2004 and has been the driving force behind the continued growth and development of the company since then. Phillip is also the main point of contact for all corporate, racing and regatta charters.

John Roe, Operations Manager
John joined the Impression team in October 07 and comes with a lifetimes experience within the marine trade. His previous life has taken him as far a field as the Middle East, Med, Caribbean and Australia and it's this extensive knowledge that we will now benefit from. More recently John was the chief instructor of a sailing school. John manages all aspects of fleet maintenance, refit programmes, race preparations and coding work. He also is on the water skippering on a regular basis.

Laura Reynolds, Office Manager/Event Coordinator
Laura joined the team in 2008 after organising International Commercial Marine and Leisure Trade Exhibitions, conferences, Seminars and Workshops. Having studied a degree in Watersport Studies and Management, and working as a Multi-Activity Instructor, Laura has plenty of experience within the Leisure Activity industry and the running of events. Laura is responsible for the general running of the Impressions office, and will assist with your event from conception to completion.
