SAMPLE ITINERARY: ONE DAY PACKAGE
0900 Clients arrive in Port Hamble and are escorted to their yacht where they will be offered breakfast. You may also like to consider meeting at the prestigious Royal Southern Yacht Club for breakfast and setting off from there.
0930 Professional skipper explains the outline of the day and gives a full safety briefing.
1000 Depart Hamble for morning sailing (and race instruction if required) in the Solent. Sail to a picturesque part of the Isle of Wight.
1300 BBQ, buffet or a la carte lunch at venue (tba).
1430 Anchors and headsails up for a gentle sail down to the Needles and back along the Solent, alternatively we could organize some racing at this point in the day.
1630 Relaxing sail back to the Hamble with a nice cold beer or glass of wine.
1730-1800 Arrive back at Hamble for drinks at a local pub.
SAMPLE ITINERARY: TWO DAY PACKAGE
1900 Clients to arrive in Port Hamble, are escorted to their yacht for a welcome briefing before pre dinner drinks overlooking the harbour.
2030 Dinner at pre booked local restaurant.
Clients can either sleep on the boats or we can arrange accommodation in local hotels or the Royal Southern Yacht Club.
DAY 1
0830 Breakfast ashore at local prestigious yacht club or on board.
0900 Detailed safety briefing by a professional skipper before departing for a practice sail and race instruction in the Solent.
1230 Moor up for a relaxing lunch either on board or ashore (buffet or BBQ).
1400 Anchors and headsails up, Yachts gather for the start of first race.
1500 Optional second race.
1700 Moor up in Cowes Yacht Haven (other marinas can be used).
1900 Dinner ashore.
DAY TWO
0800 Breakfast
0930 Depart for a quick practice sail in the Solent
1100 Second/ third race
1230 Buffet or packed lunch on board or BBQ/ buffet ashore
1400 Third/ fourth race
1700 Gentle sail back to Hamble for tea/ drinks and prize giving.
For larger events tea/drinks ashore with a small prize giving can be
arranged.
